AT&T Makes iPhone 3G S Upgrading More Confusing

Some of you iPhone 3G owners still mad over the fact that you can't get an iPhone 3G S for $199 are in luck. AT&T has announced that iPhone 3G owners who are "upgrade eligible" in July – September 2009 can take advantage of the lower price beginning June 18th.

If you aren't upgrade eligible until October 2009, well, you're still out of luck.

TweetDeck on iPhone

On first impression, it tries to do some very slick things like Growl notifications which most would agree will soon be needed for Apple's forthcoming push notification overload. As a first release it is quite buggy though, crashing on me more than once and getting mangled text when the screen rotation changes.

In comparison to the other popular iPhone Twitter applications, TweetDeck comes in at the sweet spot of free and will hopefully only improve.

Apple today announced that more than 11 million copies of Safari 4 have been downloaded in the first three days of its release, including more than six million downloads of Safari for Windows.

Why do crap apps still exist?

The answer for the people buying those crappy apps is yes, it is completely worth it. It's a silly notion really to think that the 'masses' care about the quality of a value menu priced app.
