Wii News Channel Goes Live

The Wii News Channel which was scheduled for a Jan. 27 release is now available after performing a Wii system update.

The news content is provided by the Associated Press who has a 2 year agreement with Nintendo to provide news. The Channel is similar to the Weather Channel on the Wii, which includes a globe allowing users to views news from around the world.
