Nintendo Wii Production ahead of Schedule

According to a new report from financial company UBS, Nintendo has already manufactured about 2 million Wii units and is on track to have 7 to 9 million ready for the end of the year.

Nintendo has previously stated they would have 6 million Wii units worldwide by the end of the year. While rival Sony has announced they will only have 400,000 PlayStation 3 units for North America.
