Apple Releases new MacBook Pros

Apple announced today that it's MacBook Pro line would be upgraded to Intel Core 2 Duo processors.
All MacBook Pro models now offer double the memory and greater storage capacity than the previous generation, as well as a FireWireŽ 800 port for connecting to high-speed peripherals.
The new MacBooks are available for purchase now on the Apple Online Store and are expected to start shipping next week in the following configurations.
  • 15", 2.16GHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, $1999.
  • 15", 2.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HD, $2499.
  • 17", 2.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, $2799.
